A new group should have its own URL, eg: instead of https://www.smartenergygroups.com/groups/3 https://www.smartenergygroups.com/groups/wellin… or even maybe https://www.smartenergygroups.com/groups/school…
Also, when you click on a group, you should be able to see a subset of forums – discussions for that group. The group should also have a blog; posting to the blog would be like when I post a URL to my facebook profile. That way news stories and items of interest to everyone go on the group home page; delve into the forums for further discussion. This will give us a bit of initial structure for a new group, eg: /schools/ - general – discussions for everyone - ideas – ideas on ways for the school to save energy - teachers – a place for teachers to discuss their aspects of the project - tech – ask questions, get support, delve deeper into Arduino-land Steve

interesting how the URLs got truncated there. I meant
/groups/wellingtoncollege or /groups/schools/wellingtoncollege
